We loved being at the breath-taking Harborside East venue this weekend for Sirena and Khemari’ s big day! The space was dressed head to toe in shimmering flashes of deep purple and gold that only added to the beauty of the venue. With the help of Jevettra at Avila Dawn Events, this wedding was a showstopper just like our brides! She made sure every detail was perfectly set and is a delight to work alongside.

We had the pleasure of passing our beloved Sweet Tea Barbeque Chicken Topped Corn Bread Round and Fried Green Tomatoes topped with Herbed Goat Cheese, Pickled Pepper and Micro Arugula to their hungry guests as they took some fabulous pictures by the water for cocktail hour! (Priscilla Thomas, their photographer, really has an eye for gorgeous shots!) Such a great simple southern start to get everyone ready for dinner!

Family and Friends quickly headed up to the stations after enjoying our pre-set Field Fresh Salad with Fresh Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Red Onion, House-made Croutons and Dijon Vinaigrette. They were welcomed by our staff serving up our yummy Pecan Encrusted Chicken Breast with Bourbon Maple Mustard Sauce with Sautéed Green Beans and some amazing Roasted Sweet Potatoes with a Brown Sugar/Cream Cheese Sauce that’ll make your mouth water! On the other side of the room, our Shrimp and Grits station stole the show with those Parmesan Grits I know you’ve heard so much about!

After everyone had enjoyed our stations, there was nothing stopping them from hitting the dance floor…and believe me, they were ready! DJ Mike had them dancing non-stop and as the night slowly crept to an end what better way send our brides off with a pretty ribbon send off! Congratulations to our new Mrs. and Mrs.! We truly hope you have a lifetime of happiness!
