Legare Waring House is always a gorgeous setting for a reception here in Charleston! Pure Luxe Bride put together a magical evening for Sam and Chris on their wedding day. The classic Italian music in the background set the tone for the whole evening! The wine was flowing and smiles and laughter were shared.
The evening began with cocktail hour under the avenue of the oaks! Their Hors D’oeuvres included the following:
Mushroom Duxelle and Gruyere Phyllo Cup Tartlet
Sweet Tea Barbeque Chicken Topped Corn Bread Round
Shrimp and Grits Tasting
After Cocktail Hour the guests gathered under the tent for a delicious 3 course meal!
Course 1: Field Fresh Salad
Local Greens, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Red Onion, House-made Croutons and Balsamic Vinaigrette
Course 2: Penne Pasta ala Marinara Sauce
( It wouldn’t be Italian if there wasn’t a pasta Course! )
Course 3: Choice of the Following Entrees
Gruyere, Arugula, and Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken Breast – Topped with a Shallot Pan Sauce
Filet Mignon – Topped with a Cabernet Demi-Glace
Tomato, Garlic, Spinach, and Parmesan Filled Balsamic Marinated Portabella
All served with Broccoli Parmesan and Smashed Potatoes
Following dinner, everyone flocked to the dance floor to get the party going! For the rest of the night there was dancing and games of Bocci Ball on the lawn. It was definitely an evening the Bride and Groom will remember for the rest of their lives!
