We’re throwing it back to our sunny spring wedding with MI Events! Danielle Snider knows exactly how to make jaws drop by setting up the perfect romantic scene just like she did for Kerrie and Greg. Charleston has so many beautiful venues but we love when our bride and grooms step out of the box and create their dream day out of a plain southern outdoor field. Out on Johns Island, they spiced up their venue with a large tent and stage for The Hot Sauce band, some café lighting and a few wooden farm tables with greenery. EventWorks did a fabulous job delivering our rentals and Mix served up some refreshing drinks for friends and family!

The entertainment didn’t end there…we served up our Lowcountry Boil Croquette with Tangy Cocktail Sauce, our Fried Chicken Topped Mini Waffle Bite with a Maple Dijon Drizzle, our She Crab Soup Shooter, a Garden-Fresh Tomato, Strawberry, Basil Bruschetta, our tasty Fried Green Tomato with Herbed Goat Cheese and Red Pepper Jelly, and last but not least, our Cheddar and Herb Biscuits topped with Pimento Cheese, Prosciutto and Pickled Green Tomato Relish. Guests clearly had an amazing assortment of hors d’oeuvres to choose from! Going a little heavy on cocktail hour is never a bad idea; it keeps your guests happy and ready for what’s next to come!

For dinner, our bride and groom decided to go with a very classy served meal! We started with our B. Gourmet Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette then on to our Shrimp and Grits for an amuse bouche. Guests had a choice of entrée between a Duo of Lump Crab Cake with Lemon Dill Sauce, our Grilled Filet Mignon with Cabernet Demi-Glace, and a Maple Bourbon Glazed Salmon all served with Sea Salt, Olive Oil Fingerling Potatoes with Green Beans Sautéed with Mushroom and Shallot. Needless to say, no one left hungry!

Kait Bakes did an amazing job with their wedding cake and Hot Sauce was a hoot to watch preform! We had such a wonderful time working with these vendors and can’t wait till our next encounter. Congratulations Kerri and Greg! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
