The Island House is a beautiful property located in John’s Island. With it’s remarkable views of the sky and unforgettable sunsets, we were lucky to be a part of Amanda and Karim’s wedding. Merci, Beinvenue and Oui were mentioned quite a bit throughout the evening!

Cocktail Hour began in the front of the house, with the following passed options:

After cocktail hour concluded, the guests proceeded to the back of the house to begin their plated dinner.

First Course:

Shrimp & Grits | Local Shrimp Simmered in a White Wine and Butter Sauce with Bacon, Garlic, Bell Pepper, Onion, and Celery, Served on top of Parmesan Grits

Fresh Baked Dinner Rolls and Herb Butter

Entrée Course:

Garlic & Herb Marinated Flank Steak | Served with Spiralized Vegetables with Fresh Herb Sauce

The rest of the evening was followed by cake and a variety of savory desserts. Guests from both Europe and the States joined together in the wonderful celebration of Amanda and Karim!
