It was our very first wedding working with our friend Betsey at Pop the Bubbly Events! This early Autumn reception was nothing short of stunning over at Coleman Hall and Chapel, and we loved that the bride and groom decided to incorporate some fun items in the menu. Several times during the evening, we overheard guests complimenting the bride and groom o n the great food and atmosphere of the day, and we have to agree!


Cocktail hour started with one of our favorite displays, our Lowcountry Garden Bistro Display. This is, hands down, our most popular hors d’oeuvre display, and with good reason! This display includes domestic and imported cheese, fresh seasonal fruits and veggies, assorted crackers & fresh baked artisan breads, and housemade dips! It’s a hit both with adults and kids alike.

We always like to pair this display with a few butlered hors d’oeuvres as well – we love the interaction with the guests, and there is such an air of elegance surrounding a cocktail reception with passed hors d’oeuvres. Our bride and groom opted for our Fried Chicken Topped Mini Waffle Bites & Mini Crab Cakes topped with Lemon Dill Cream.


Our Rocks Glass Salad Station is one of our favorite ways to bring variety into our client’s salad selection. Built into individual Old Fashioned Glasses, we offer two varieties of salads (Traditional Caesar and Down South, in this case!) for guests to choose from, and top with a mini fork to make these perfect for standing at a cocktail table, enjoying time with other guests.
