This wedding was one for the books! Not only did we get the absolute pleasure of working with Sara at Stunning and Brilliant Events, we also experienced one of the most unique nights we’ve ever experienced! After the many tropical storms we’ve experienced lately, our tides have been acting up a bit.. Guest were surprised that the water came up and over the Cotton Dock, creating a memory that all of them will be sure to never forget! While so many couples might see this as a negative, our sweet bride and groom took on the night with joy and danced the night away, ankle deep in water!
Earlier in the evening, guests were treated to some amazing hors d’oeuvres, including our Cornmeal Encrusted Fried Oyster, Beef Tenderloin Parmesan Crisps, Bacon Wrapped Dates, and our old standby – Fried Chicken Topped Mini Waffle Bites!
The Bride’s family traveled all the way from New York to Charleston for the festivities, and they were delighted by the Southern favorites including Fresh Baked Biscuits and Honey Butter, Shrimp and Grits, Braised Short Ribs accompanied by Smashed Potatoes and Roasted Broccolini, and Fresh Pesto Grilled Chicken Breast with Spiralized Vegetables. For a lighter component, our bride and groom opted for our Rocks Glass Salad Station, including our B. Gourmet Salad [Local Greens, Candied Pecans, Goat Cheese Crumbles, Strawberries, and Balsamic Vinaigrette] as well as a Traditional Caesar with Housemade Croutons and Parmesan Crisps.
We cannot be more grateful for clients as sweet as A & I! They truly are the type of people that make our jobs so rewarding and remind us why we love what we do! We wish a lifetime of happiness to the beautiful couple!
