This wedding Wednesday, we’re featuring our lovely wedding at Old Wide Awake Plantation with Ashli and Brandon! We can’t get over their blush pink, navy blue, gold dressed venue wedding day with a romantic feel. Margaret McKenzie is one of Charleston’s amazing wedding planners and she just can’t help herself when creating a memorable day! Snyder provided the rentals for the evening and Ascend Entertainment lit up the dance floor.

Cocktail Hour began with our southern Fried Green Tomatoes with Pimento Cheese and Crumbled Bacon. We love these tasty tomatoes; they’re a knockout for sure! Following those, our servers passed our She Crab Soup Shooters and Brie and Chive Biscuit Sliders with Shaved Turkey, Arugula and Cranberry Aioli.

Dinner stations opened with our Southern Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potato Station with Assorted Toppings…this station is so fun for family and friends! Action stations are a great way to get your guests up out of their seats and really enjoying the good food. We served up our Shrimp and Grits as well as our Garlic, Herb, and Balsamic Marinated Flank Steak, and Rocks Glass Salad Station! Ashli and Brandon really chose a menu that their guests would love and one that played well with their Charleston venue, too!

Our Bride and Groom invited guests to watch them cut the cake and enjoy some delicious mini cupcakes before hitting the dance floor. You can’t go wrong with anything mini on your big day! From mini cupcakes to mini late-night snacks or even cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres…guests are definitely going to love the fun popable bites!

Once AJ of Ascend Entertainment got them dancing, there was no stopping this bunch! They hit the dance floor all the way until the bubble send off into our newlyweds “Just Married” Jeep send away.

Congratulations Ashli and Brandon! Thanks for letting us be a part of your big day!
