Brooke M. Bishop

Direction of Operations
Husband and Wife Owners, Brooke and Greg, are personally involved in all aspects of the business and events. It is this personal investment to quality and guest satisfaction, and a combined 25 years of hospitality management experience, that has led to the continued success of B. Gourmet Catering.
Brooke received her B.S. from the Pennsylvania State University in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management and a Certificate in French Cuisine and Culture from Institute Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France. Degrees aside, her passion for food, cooking, and entertaining came from helping her mother, Grandmother, and big sister in the kitchen since she was a little girl.
She worked as a Catering Sales Managers for several full service hotels before making the move to the hospitality capital of the South East, Charleston. While slowly preparing to launch B. Gourmet Catering, Brooke worked for another full service catering company and learned the ins and outs of Charleston’s beautiful venues while honing in on her culinary skills at The Art Institute.
Greg received his B.S. in Marketing and Business Administration from Gannon University. He worked full-time while in school at a full service hotel, upon graduation he accepted a position as an insurance salesman. His passion for the hospitality industry quickly brought him back to working in hotels, and it is here that he and Brooke met working as managers together. After two years of dating and a desire to relocate to an area with more career opportunities, Greg joined Brooke on the move to Charleston and began working as a Food and Beverage Manager for a Four Diamond Hotel and Restaurant in Downtown Charleston.
B. Gourmet Catering officially began in 2012, and with a lot of hard work, attention to detail, quality, and customer satisfaction, quickly grew. Greg joined the team in 2013 and brought along his Four Diamond customer service and incredible work ethic. In 2015 Brooke and Greg married back in their home state of Pennsylvania on Brooke’s parents tree plantation. Together, Brooke and Greg continue to grow the business with a continued passion to exceed client’s expectations while helping people make unforgettable memories together.
When Greg and Brooke are not “living the catering dream” they can be found spending time with their fur babies, Charlie and Savannah.

Meet your Sales Manager, Lauren!
Lauren’s passion for the event industry began back in college (Go Hoosiers!), when she interned for her University’s catering department. Her love for all things catering and events expanded when she moved to sunny Charleston, South Carolina, and began working at some of the most stunning venues in the South.
Her favorite part of her job is learning about each unique client’s vision for the big day. Food is so sentimental… Every family gathering, every celebration is centered around an amazing meal, and she loves being to tell a story with each client’s menu.
When she’s not working, Lauren enjoys drinking a glass (or two!) of bubbly, getting lost walking around the beautiful, historic streets downtown Charleston, and re-watching The Office for the millionth time.

Meet your Event Manager, Eva!
Eva has a true passion for organization and customer service and enjoys working closely with clients, whether couples or companies, to help make their event plans a reality. Her favorite part is seeing a well-planned soiree come to life, and everyone enjoying themselves. The only thing Eva loves more than a good party are her two dogs, Zoey and Mac, who she loves to walk at the beach near her home on James Island.
Eva is a foodie at heart and relishes the opportunity to pair her passion for producing amazing events with her love of fantastic food. Eva has a strong eye for detail, and her experience as an event planner combined with her love of weddings makes her a perfect match with B Gourmet.
